Mono-White Midrange

A resilient mono-white midrange deck that uses cheap interaction and powerful threats to outlast opponents, with a token and board-survive theme.

Skrelv, Defector Mite can give your biggest threat protection, while Hopeful Initiate benefits from training and removal to grow. Serra Paragon allows you to recast creatures from the graveyard each turn if you gain life, and Mondrak doubles your token production from Hopeful Initiate and The Wandering Emperor. Annointed Peacekeeper taxes opposing spells and plays well with flyers. Elesh Norn doubles your enters-the-battlefield triggers, making Serra Paragon and Annointed Peacekeeper even more devastating. Sunfall and The Wandering Emperor keep the board clean while leaving a token to boost your offense.

Keep hands with two or three lands, a one-drop or two-drop, and some early interaction. Mulligan hands with no cheap creatures or only expensive cards, and be aggressive about starting on curve. Against aggro, keep removal early; against control, favor creatures that leave value behind.

Early: drop Skrelv or Hopeful Initiate and start attacking, use Elspeth's Smite or Glass Casket to remove blockers or key threats. Mid: cast Annointed Peacekeeper and Serra Paragon to gain advantage, use Ossification and Sunfall to control the battlefield. Late: resolve The Wandering Emperor at instant speed, then use Serra Paragon and Mondrak to build an overwhelming army, and Elesh Norn to double triggers for the finish.

This deck has limited card advantage outside of Serra Paragon and planeswalkers, so heavy discard can strip crucial responses. It also can be overrun by extremely fast combo decks that ignore the board. Protect your life total and use Sunfall wisely against go-wide strategies.
