Jund Halloween Cauldron Sacrifice

A Jund aristocrats deck that grinds opponents out with the Cauldron Familiar / Witch's Oven loop, draining life through Bastion of Remembrance and Vindictive Vampire while flooding the board with sacrifice fodder.

• Witch's Oven + Cauldron Familiar: Sacrifice the Cat to the Oven to create a Food token, then sacrifice that Food to return the Cat to the battlefield, draining 1 life from each opponent every turn while keeping a repeatable body.
• Bastion of Remembrance / Vindictive Vampire: Every creature that dies (sacrificed Cats, Saprolings, Goblin tokens, chump blockers) drains each opponent, so your sacrifice outlets and trades convert directly into damage.
• Grumgully, the Generous: Every non-Human creature you control (Cats, Goblins, Saprolings, Vampires) enters with an extra +1/+1 counter, turning a swarm of tiny tokens and recurring Cats into a real clock.
• Fireblade Artist: A free sacrifice outlet on your upkeep that pings the opponent for 2, converting spare tokens and stuck Cats into reach.

Keep hands that contain Witch's Oven plus Cauldron Familiar, or at least two to three lands with a drain payoff (Bastion of Remembrance / Vindictive Vampire) and cheap fodder (Cauldron Familiar, Vampire of the Dire Moon, Goblin Instigator). Mulligan any hand with no black source, and be wary of all-tapland hands with no play until turn three.

• Early: Deploy cheap creatures like Cauldron Familiar, Vampire of the Dire Moon, and Goblin Instigator to build a board and start chipping in damage. Use Fatal Push and Lightning Strike to stay alive against aggro.
• Mid: Assemble the Witch's Oven / Cauldron Familiar engine, then land Bastion of Remembrance or a Vindictive Vampire so every sacrifice drains the opponent. Fireblade Artist turns spare tokens into clock.
• Late: Grind with the recurring Cat loop, attack with Grumgully-pumped Goblins, Saprolings, and Saproling tokens, and finish with a stream of drain triggers and Fireblade Artist pings each turn.

• Built entirely from commons and uncommons, so it lacks the raw power of rare-heavy Historic decks and can be outpaced by fast aggro or combo.
• Heavy tapland manabase makes the deck slow and vulnerable to land disruption or stumbling on colors.
• Graveyard hate shuts off Cauldron Familiar's recursion.
• Needs a sacrifice outlet to function; without Witch's Oven or Fireblade Artist, Bastion of Remembrance and token armies lose much of their value.
• Sweepers that kill your whole board can erase the accumulated drain engine.
