A red-blue tempo deck that uses powerful dragons and spell synergy to generate value, draw cards, and burn the opponent.
Goddric, Cloaked Reveler becomes a dragon and draws a card each combat, while Goldspan Dragon creates treasures when it attacks or is targeted. Niv-Mizzet, Visionary draws a card and deals damage whenever you cast a noncreature spell. Spit Flame provides reusable removal that grows with your dragons. Press the Enemy bounces threats and can save your creatures.
Keep hands with at least two lands, a low-cost creature (Goddric or Ascendant Spirit), and interaction like Spit Flame. Mulligan hands with too many high-cost cards or no early plays.
Early game: Play Goddric or Ascendant Spirit to apply pressure. Use Spit Flame to remove early threats. Mid game: Deploy Goldspan Dragon to ramp and deal damage. Cast Niv-Mizzet to draw cards and ping. Late game: Overwhelm with multiple dragons and card advantage from Goddric and Niv-Mizzet. Use bounce spells like Press the Enemy to protect your board.
Sweepers can reset your board. The deck lacks graveyard recursion. Aggro decks can outrace if you don't draw removal. Heavy control can counter key threats.
