Mono Black Suicide

A mono-black suicide aggro deck that uses life as a resource to disrupt the opponent and deal fast damage with evasive threats and life drain.

• Deep-Cavern Bat and Duress strip key cards from the opponent's hand, clearing the way for your threats.
• Unscrupulous Agent and Desperate Bloodseeker drain the opponent's life while gaining you life, offsetting the life loss from Bitter Triumph, Diresight, and Phyrexian Arena.
• Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubles all life loss, turning small drains and combat damage into lethal bursts.
• Preacher of the Schism creates tokens and gains life, providing a steady stream of blockers and life to fuel your suicide strategy.
• Vampire Nighthawk is an evasive threat that gains life, helping you stabilize against aggro.

Keep hands with 2-3 lands, at least one one-drop (Deep-Cavern Bat, Duress, Unscrupulous Agent) and one two-drop. Mulligan hands with 0, 1, or 5+ lands, or no early plays. Keep hands with Bitter Triumph or Fell against unknown opponents.

Early: Deploy one-drops like Deep-Cavern Bat and Unscrupulous Agent to disrupt and drain. Use Duress to remove removal or key threats. Mid: Play Preacher of the Schism and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Use Fell and Bitter Triumph to clear blockers. Attack with evasive creatures. Late: Use Phyrexian Arena and Diresight to refill your hand. Finish with Bloodletter doubled drains or Vampire Nighthawk beats. Hero's Downfall handles any remaining threats.
