Mono-Red Historic Goblins

A hyper-aggressive mono-red Goblin strategy that wins by overwhelming the board with cheap Goblins and finishing with Krenko, Muxus, Purphoros, and sacrifice damage.

• Skirk Prospector sacrifices Goblins for {R}, ramping into Krenko or Muxus faster.
• Goblin Matron tutors key payoffs, so the deck is not reliant on one card.
• Krenko, Mob Boss doubles Goblins each turn; Purphoros deals 2 damage per entering creature, often killing on the spot.
• Goblin Warchief and Goblin Chieftain give haste and pump, making freshly created tokens attack immediately.
• Pashalik Mons and Goblin Bombardment turn extra Goblins into direct damage, even before a board wipe.

Keep hands with 2-3 lands and a one-drop or token producer. Mulligan hands with 0-1 lands or five-plus lands. A hand with Skirk Prospector and a payoff is ideal.

Early (turns 1-2): play Skirk Prospector, Fanatical Firebrand, Goblin Instigator, or Battle Cry Goblin to build a board and generate mana. Mid (turns 3-4): play Goblin Warchief, Goblin Chieftain, or Goblin Matron to speed up or tutor the win conditions. Late (turn 5+): resolve Krenko or Muxus, flood the board, and use Purphoros triggers, Goblin Grenade, and Goblin Bombardment to finish.

Board wipes can reset the swarm; keep a sacrifice outlet or Grenade ready to convert Goblins into damage before the wipe resolves. Spot removal on Krenko or Muxus can cut the deck's reach, so Goblin Matron is key for redundancy. Heavy life gain can outlast the burn, so prioritize damage from enter-the-battlefield triggers.
