Golgari Poison Equipment Hate

This Historic Golgari deck attacks Boros Dwarf equipment on the poison axis, keeping the opponent too busy with equipment to survive a ten-poison-count clock.

Venerated Rotpriest turns every targeted spell, such as Tyvar's Stand, into an extra poison counter. Cankerbloom is a flexible anti-equipment answer because it can be sacrificed to destroy artifacts/enchantments or to proliferate the opponent's poison counters. Blightbelly Rat and Bloated Contaminator build poison pressure while Scavenging Ooze and Glissa Sunslayer stabilize the board.

Keep hands with two to four lands and an early black source. Against Boros, prioritize hands with Fatal Push, Thoughtseize, or Cankerbloom. Mulligan hands with no turn-one or turn-two action, too many lands, or no way to interact with an aggressive start.

Early game: use Thoughtseize and Fatal Push to strip key dwarves and equipment, then develop Venerated Rotpriest and cheap Toxic creatures. Midgame: deploy Cankerbloom and Bloated Contaminator, protect Rotpriest with Tyvar's Stand, and use Boseiju/Cankerbloom to destroy equipment. Lategame: race with poison counters while Glissa Sunslayer, Scavenging Ooze, and Midnight Reaper keep you alive and generate value.

The deck is tempo-sensitive and can lose to wide creature swarms or a very fast Boros start if it does not draw early removal. It also sacrifices traditional card advantage for speed, so strong control decks with cheap sweepers can be difficult.
