Torbran's Triple Threat

A hyper-aggressive mono-red Brawl deck led by Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, that turns every point of damage into three.

Torbran, Thane of Red Fell is the engine: any red source you control deals +2 damage. This turns tiny pingers like Firebrand Archer, Electrostatic Field, Kessig Flamebreather, Witty Roastmaster, Viashino Pyromancer, and Voldaren Epicure into repeatable three-damage threats. Cavalcade of Calamity plus one-power Goblin tokens means each attacker deals three damage. Goblin Chainwhirler becomes a one-sided sweeper that also hits the opponent for three. Embercleave on any creature gives double strike, so Torbran's bonus applies twice per combat. Goldspan Dragon and Reckless Fireweaver turn Treasures into extra damage, while Heartfire and Terror of the Peaks convert token bodies into reach.

Keep hands with two to three lands and a one- or two-drop creature plus a burn spell. A hand with Torbran and a couple of cheap creatures is a snap keep. Mulligan hands that are all four-plus-drops or that have no red source.

Early: deploy one-drop creatures and cheap burn to pressure the opponent and clear blockers. Mid: land Torbran and follow with Goblin token makers, pingers, and burn to push damage fast; Goblin Chainwhirler clears small boards. Late: finish with Embercleave-equipped attackers, Goldspan Dragon, Chandra, Torch of Defiance, or a big Heartfire sacrifice.

Board wipes and mass removal hurt the token plan, and Torbran himself is a lightning rod for removal. Lifegain and large creatures can stall the damage race, and running out of gas is a real risk if the opponent survives the first wave. Counter magic on key payoffs is also problematic.
