Boros Aggro Removal

A fast Boros aggro deck that uses cheap creatures and efficient red/white removal to clear blockers and close games quickly.

Reckless Lackey and Novice Inspector provide early pressure and card selection, while Healer's Hawk adds evasive lifelink damage. Lightning Helix, Shock, and Lightning Strike clear blockers while also providing reach. Banishing Light and Sheltered by Ghosts answer larger threats and protect key attackers. Frontier Seeker helps smooth draws and find action.

Keep hands with 2–3 lands, at least one 1-drop creature, and one removal spell. Mulligan hands with no early action or no access to both red and white mana by turn two.

Early: deploy hasty 1-drops and use Shock or Lightning Strike to clear blockers. Mid: land Healer's Hawk and Frontier Seeker, then press damage with Lightning Helix for reach. Late: use Banishing Light and Sheltered by Ghosts to remove key blockers and finish with evasive creatures.

Board wipes and lifegain can stall the deck. Heavy removal decks can trade efficiently with your small creatures. The mana base includes tapped duals and fetch lands, so aggressive starts can occasionally be slowed.
